I hav...This book has been in my TBR list for years! I haven't read it yet, so thank you for the review, as it gives me an idea about what to expect when I read it. Although your review expresses mixed feelings, I still find this book very interesting. Perhaps the only problem is that it was written in the 80s and it shows. If the same plot were to be written nowadays, all those details you mention would have been written in a different way. So, still on my TBR list.
