Thanks for posting this, Keira. I printed out the schedule and workshops the other day and I'm trying to come up with a plan of attack. My biggest worry right now is when will I sleep?

Hi Terri. Love your you new icon!! I feeeel your pain. Sleep was the hardest thing to get last year, too, and this year's looking worse. One thing I did was to not go to all the parties. Instead, I hung out at the bar and chatted quietly with different people.

Thanks, Keira. I'm not so much a party girl as a talker. I just know I'm not going to want to sleep when I only have four days to enjoy hanging with all my internet friends in person.

Are they pretty good about keeping the workshop rooms pretty concentrated? Or will we be running miles to get from workshop to workshop? I'm afraid with my bad knees people will just have to deal with me wearing tennis shoes all day. Not the most professional but I even wear them to work now because of the pain.

Last year, they were very well organized and the room are usually close to each other, except for a few, because they needed large rooms and the hotel was being renovated (really!).

I'm really sorry to hear about your knees. Tennis shoes work. I wore these comfortable Dansko sandals with that no-no of fashion standard: knee-hi's. It was more important to me to be able to focus on the workshops than on my pinching shoes. :)

When do you get to rest?! Sounds like a lot of work and some good fun, too. Thanks for the well wishes, Keira :)

I've been wondering that, too, Melisa. My Tuesday, the day of rest before the conference, has also filled up to the brim. :) But yes. It is tons of fun!!

Hope you're starting to feel better already.

Keira, doesn't this look fab? I can hardly wait! Terri, the answer to your question is YOU DON'T SLEEP! You can sleep afterwards. Well, I don't sleep then either because I leave with my brain so completely overstimulated with good stuff, it takes at least a week to settle down. It's sad conference is only once a year. It's good conference is only once a year. Do you know what I mean? Hey, cute new avatar! Although I must say I loved the pink hat box.

No sleep?! At all?! Well, I'll go with that but don't surprised if you have to scrape me off the floor by Friday. LOL!

Thanks on the avatar. I'm spending my summer all alone so this one fit perfectly.

Terri, er, I have a post coming later this week where the first "injunction" is: Try to get as much sleep as possible.

Please ask Foanna what happened after she stayed up for National and the Oz/NZ annual conferences?

I've been waiting for Conference since last August. :)

And oh, Terri. I'm sorry about your summer. Well, it's fun, too, but it's not nice at the same time, KWIM?

Fo, did you receive an e-mail from me yesterday/today? I had this long message all typed up and sentout, but then no copy showed up in my sent items box, so I'm not sure whether my e-mail system simply gobbled it up, or ??
