Intriguing Cover Design

After reading Jessica's post about iconic romance covers at Read, React, Review, I was primed for debut author Maisey Yates's post about her October release that features one of the first new Mills & Boon Modern Romance covers.

Now the cover has become a modern women's fiction novel cover. It has come of age. Brava to the Mills & Boon design team!

I did not know about the new M&B covers. I like them!

This cover design's a sixer, in cricket terminology.

Oh, thanks for that, Keira! I'm absolutely thrilled by them! Nostalgically, love the old ones too. But the new ones are modern (forgive the pun) and they're the sort of book a woman will pick up in a store and not feel embarrassed. (and will be able to pick up in front of her nosy kids!)

Yes, curious kids, sigh! I'm already in a quandry about what to do with all the books I have in my house. Always wanting to know what I'm reading, why the title is like that, and what are the people on the cover doing. OHGOD.
